| Missing Girl (2001) | ||

The Studio, UK
[Note: In May 2001, Kim Newman called me and asked if I wanted to play a serial killer ("Mr Lost Friends") in a
100-second short film (millimetraggi) he was making (apparently Michael Marshall Smith wasn't
available). I said, "Sure. Why not?" It was part of a cable TV competition to script, shoot and edit a film
in 24 hours based around a surprise theme. So I ended up spending a day skulking around Islington in North London
in pursuit of a waitress from the press launch. Unfortunately, somebody else's film won the competition, but a lot
of people thought I played a convincing psychopath. The film was screened at FrightFest in 2001.
