Directed by genre stalwart Peter Sasdy (Taste the Blood of Dracula, Hands of the Ripper),
Countess Dracula is undoubtedly one of Hammer's most infamous and horrifying films. Ingrid Pitt
features as the buxom, vampiric Countess Elisabeth, a part she is still best-remembered for to this day,
and is ably supported by Nigel Green, Sandor Eles (Crossroads, Department S), Maurice Denham (Porridge,
Doctor Who) and Lesley Anne-Down (Upstairs Downstairs, From Beyond the Grave).

Reviews
"Network's audio commentary pairs Ingrid Pitt with film historians Stephen Jones and Kim Newman . . . Pitt is clearly happier to hold court and relishes being attended by two such knowledgeable moderators."
"The Audio Commentary is in fact a brand new one, recorded in the last few months with Ingrid Pitt herself and internationally acclaimed horror experts Kim Newman and Stephen Jones. Pitt herself is on fine form—rather eccentric and over the top, but charming and fascinating too. Newman and Jones do well to balance her memoirs and thoughts with a well-researched historical and critical commentary."
