London Weekend Television, UK
—Stephen Jones.]
|
A tale of murder, suspense and false identities, this three-hour TV movie was
based on the 1934 Agatha Christie novel featuring high society investigators
Lady Frances Derwent ("Frankie") and her friend, vicar's son Bobby Jones. This £1
million production, shot over three months on location and in LWT's studios, was the first
Christie novel adapted for television after the author's death in 1976.
